Academy of Dance is #59 this year in the parade line up. Please park in one of the ISU parking areas and walk to our meeting place. You will not be able to drive and park by our position. We are starting in the parking lot just east of the Hulman Center.
Please be at the starting position at 8:30 AM. We will then begin warming up and rehearsing the dance. The parade begins at 9:00 AM. Once the parade begins we will not return to the starting position.
Parents can choose to walk the parade route with us and throw candy to the crowds or they can meet their dancer(s) on 5th Street at the grandstand by the Barnes & Noble. Then they can walk with us until we stop just North of that location.
Please wear your red leotard, Academy of Dance jacket (if you have one), black jazz pants, white socks and white shoes. Hair should be in a ponytail. PE A & B wear pink headbands. PE C wears THAD headband.
NOTE: If it is cold, please bundle up with coats, scarves, hats and gloves. We will throw these into the back of the car when it’s time to march. You may collect your extra items when we stop.
